Jorge Castillo’s career in the trust and corporate sector is extensive and substantial. Educated at Palm Beach Atlantic University with a double major in International Business and Business Management, he later obtained an MBA from Nova South-eastern University, Fort Lauderdale. Working his way through the ranks at Royal Bank of Canada saw him manage a multi-million-dollar portfolio of Latin American based assets and create a profitability and product segmentation study over 200 Latin American accounts. His far-ranging knowledge of the Latin American market has seen Jorge’s career span 25 years, travelling extensively to Europe and Latin America, and advising clients on optimal tax structures, tailored to the specific tax and trust laws of their target markets. He also advised clients on establishing private banking relationships across Europe, the US and Asia. Jorge speaks fluent Spanish and has been a member of STEP since 2008.
