CORIATS TRUST COMPANY APPOINTS NEW TRUST DIRECTOR TO DRIVE GROWTH IN URUGUAY, ARGENTINA, AND LATIN AMERICA
Turks and Caicos based trust company, Coriats, has announced the appointment of Thomas Bucknall as Senior Trust Director. Tom is a Spanish speaker with strong family connections in Argentina. This strategic appointment aims to bolster Coriats Trust Company’s commitment to expanding its services across Uruguay, Argentina, and the broader Latin America region.
Coriats was founded in 1978 and is the leading provider of trust and multi-family office services in the Turks and Caicos Islands with an AUA in excess of US$1 Billion. Independently owned and run, Coriats is part of the wider G&P group of lawyers, corporate service providers and fund administration and management businesses.
Tom brings a wealth of experience and connections, having worked with global ultra-high-net-worth individual (UHNWI) families, and global corporations in his previous roles. In one of his recent roles, he was private counsel for a family office with assets in the US$ billions, where he navigated complex financial landscapes, ensuring the preservation and growth of substantial family wealth. His most recent role was as regional General Counsel for a large multi-national business where he supported a highly active global acquisition and investment strategy, managing complex projects across many different jurisdictions.
